At the sixth edition of the “Dolomiti Gourmetfestival”
from 11 to 13 October 2019 in Alta Pusteria, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites and its special features will play the leading role. International top chefs celebrate the highest gastronomy and hospitality around Dobbiaco and at the farm festival on the Klaude-Hof you can watch them live over their shoulder. The three-day Dolomiten Gourmet Festival from 11 to 13 October 2019 in Dobbiaco focuses on the special features of the Dolomite region and invites top international chefs to culinary exchange. Award-winning guest chefs will create fine gourmet dishes for the visitors, which can be enjoyed in the stylish setting of a gala dinner as well as at the farm festival on the Klaude-Hof. The Dolomites Gourmet Festival kicks off with a casual welcome party at which guest chefs get to know the culinary tradition of the Dolomites and the producers of regional products. “On the one hand, with the Dolomites Gourmet Festival we want to promote international exchange and introduce top chefs from all over the world to the cooking tradition and culture of the Dolomites. At the same time, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy and celebrate the culinary art of numerous renowned top chefs,” explains Chris Oberhammer, star chef at the Restaurant Tilia in Dobbiaco and organiser of the festival.
