MirkoPOMARÈ (Dolomites) – Hotel Dolomiten – Toblach
Mirko Pomaré, actually working at Hotel Dolomiten, is part of the staff of „Dolomiti Gourmetfestival Alta Pusteria“. „To participate at the Festival for me is a great chance to expand my horizon in having the possibility to see the work of great chefs “, says Mirko.
Cooking is in the blood of the young chef. He was born in Comelico in 1993 and grow up in the hotel of his parents in Val Visdende. When he was a child, he spent hours in the kitchen with his father to discover flavours and the secrets of cooking.
Then Mirko decides to go to the Hotel Management School in Longarone to make his passion a profession. He works different places, from a hut to a 5-star hotel. These different experiences, together with motivation and phantasy, is the inspiration for new dishes. Due to experimental joy he turns classical recipes in modern meals. The regional kitchen is his favourite, he likes to use local ingredients like elder and fresh spruce needles.
